Long time Google Maps lurker, first time GeoGuessr player

For anyone who knows me, they know that I love learning about countries. Their flags, capital cities, languages, everything. It's literally my second favorite love behind math.

I was also surprised that I had never played GeoGuessr regularly. I created my account on July 11, and after a few free daily challenges (and played in a 100-player multigame with a streamer), I took the next step towards a subscription.

This is my 4th day playing this and I already love it. Sure, I gotta know the meta, but I think I got the basics down, like direction of the sun, the languages, the driving directions, etc.

I'll be spending my free time learning and playing the game so I can figure out where these places are, but I think so far I'm getting it.

Mega Victreebel

I'm playing Pokémon Legends Z-A this fall, so I want to show you the newest Mega Pokémon that was revealed yesterday.

This is Mega Victreebel. Although it keeps its original Grass/Poison typing, the main characteristics of this new Mega sound dangerous (especially if you have never played the game)

It keeps the acid inside it by wrapping one of its vines around the throat to close its mouth, but even that's not really enough.

I don't know if I will have Victreebel on my team, but as the launch date gets closer, I really need to start thinking about what Pokémon I want to have on my team.

Can Bingo be this intense?

 Apparently, yes, if you're playing Bloxy Bingo on Roblox

Ladies and gentlemen (and nb's), meet my new favorite Roblox game Bloxy Bingo.

For context, I joined Roblox on June 11, 2025 (at the ripe old age of 36, how have I not done this earlier) and so far, I have played Squid Game (Ink, Hide and Seek, etc), Dress to Impress, and Math Murder. They're all great games.

But this past week, I started playing Bloxy Bingo out of boredom and so far, I managed to win every stage of the American Bingo, as well as one of the stages of the British Bingo. That is crazy considering there are 80 people to a server at one time, even crazier that I just started playing.

However, the intensity comes in when there is one or two numbers left and someone else calls bingo first, you're playing with at least 4 cards, and even if you find yourself surrounded by other players. That last part hasn't happened to me yet.

If you have Roblox and want to play Bloxy Bingo, go for it. If you don't have it and want to play it, download Roblox and go for it. By the end of this, you too will have a love and hate relationship with Bingo

Reviving this blog after 16 years

Chat, it's been 16 years since I updated this blog. My previous posts were about news and other things from the perspective of a 20-year-old college student. Now, at 36, my priorities have changed. I'm still a bit of a news junkie, but I have since fallen in love with Eurovision, reignited my love for Pokemon (it never went away, chat, it just laid dormant), I graduated college and started working, and I'm currently exploring the possibility of streaming and making content. I hope you join me on this ride as I lay my thoughts and opinions on topics at hand
